Elan began providing
geek services to his friends and family when
he was 12. In exchange for computer help he
gained friends. No, it wasn't an even
exchange, but it motivated him to learn
every possible thing he could and utterly
motivate him to solve every problem. This
context also taught him how to explain
technology, not be condescending and be
easy-going with his clients (aka friends).
These days Elan can fix
any software running on a Microsoft machine,
and can provide hardware services up to and
including taking it apart fully and putting
it back together. He spent many years
designing software and can explain to you
the exact insane thought the programmers
were having when they created the confusing
program you are stuck using. He has
expertise with both PC and Apple platforms.
